Exhaust Connection
With the installation of a Craftsman Marine transom exhaust connector, the fitting of an additional (synthetic) goose neck has become superfluous.
By running the exhaust hose with a loop, with a top about 45 cm higher than the waterline, it is easy to make a safe connection to this curved connector. In doing so, the installation time is shortened and the risk of leaks is diminished, as there are less connections to secure. The connector is fastened with the aid of three screws and a blind, self-adhesive polished stainless steel plate forms a neat cover of these screws.
